•Absentee ballots can be requested from the local clerk’s office or online.
•Requesting an absentee ballot is possible 40 days before any election.
•Voters can choose permanent absentee ballot status for automatic ballot delivery.
•In-person early voting is available for statewide and federal elections, starting in 2024.
•Early voting sites are accessible to all registered Michigan voters.
•Early voting lasts for at least nine consecutive days, with additional days possible.
•Voters can find their early voting site(s) on Michigan.gov/Vote.
•Early voting must be completed before the Sunday preceding the election.
