  • Register by mail deadline: Must be postmarked 25 days before Election Day
  • In person registration deadline: 25 days before Election Day

  • Photo Identification: Must be issued by the US government, State of Oklahoma, or federally recognized tribal government. Must contain name, photograph, and expiration date after the election.
  • County Election Board Voter Identification Card: Free card received by mail upon voter registration, usable even without a photograph.
  • Affidavit with Provisional Ballot: If unable to provide ID, vote by provisional ballot and sign a sworn affidavit. It will be verified based on matching information with the voter registration database.

  • Request Deadline: 5:00 p.m., the third Monday before the election.
  • Voted Ballot Deadline: Must be received by 7:00 p.m. on election night.
  • Warning: False application is a felony.
  • Absentee Ballot Harvesting: Illegal.
  • Requesting Absentee Ballot: No reason needed. Request by the third Monday before the election.
  • Types of Absentee Ballots: Various types, proof of identity required.
  • Early Voting: Available to all voters without excuse, at designated locations. Times vary based on the election.
