Voter Registration


In order to complete your voter registration in the Virgin Islands, you will need to provide a copy of a valid ID. Accepted IDs include:
  • Military Discharge Certificate
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Valid US Passport
  • Certified Copy of US Birth Certificate


Voting In-Person


If you registered to vote in Virgin Islands, you may be required to present valid ID if you are voting for the first time or your registration is incomplete. You can use any ID from this list:

  • Valid US Passport
  • Certified (Copy) of US Birth Certificate
  • Military Discharge Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • Certified (Copy) of Naturalization Document

Virgin Islands offers absentee and early voting for various eligible groups including service members, students, government employees, and those with illness or disability. Early voting for the 2024 Primary Election is from July 16 to July 23, 2024, at specified locations.
