Valid forms of ID in Washington for voter registration:

  •  A driver’s license
  • State ID card
  • Tribal ID card
  • The last four digits of your Social Security number.

All registered voters receive their ballots by mail at least 18 days before each election. Ballots include a secrecy envelope, a return envelope with prepaid postage, and instructions. If a voter doesn’t receive their ballot, they can contact their county elections department. 

Additionally, in-person accessible voting centers are opened in each county during the voting period, beginning 18 days before the election and closing at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can also request replacement ballots if needed.
