- Poll workers will ask you to show proof of identity. If you do not show ID, you must fill out a form before you can vote.
- Showing ID makes checking you in faster and reduces mistakes.
- IDs may include:
- Delaware Drivers License or State ID
- U. S. Passport
- Signed Polling Place or Social Security Card
- Signed vehicle registration
- Signed credit card with photo
- A similar document that identifies the person by photo or signature
Accessible Absentee Voting: Delaware allows electronic delivery and return of absentee ballots for voters with accessibility needs.
Requesting Absentee Ballots: Use the voter portal, iVote, to request an absentee ballot quickly and conveniently. Indefinite Absentee Status: If listed as “Indefinite” in iVote, you’re a permanent absentee voter and will automatically receive absentee ballots for eligible elections.
Application Process: Visit iVote or download the absentee ballot application form to request a ballot. Eligibility: Absentee voting options are available for various groups, including military and overseas citizens, college students, and voters with disabilities. For more info click here.
