In Texas, absentee voting is available for various reasons such as being out of the county, having a disability, or being over 65. Here’s how it works:
•Request an absentee ballot from your county voter registrar early in the election year.
•Complete and return the application by the deadline, typically 11 days before the election.
•Receive your ballot by mail and return it before 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
•Accepted IDs include a Texas Driver’s License, Texas Election ID, or other valid forms.
•Early voting by personal appearance begins on May 20, 2024, until May 24, 2024, for the May 28, 2024 election.
•You can vote at any early voting location in your county.
